ok this is for anyone who was having the emergency flasher lights come dimly on when the brake is depressed. You have to find the rear circuit board that is malfunctioning. I had this problem recently and found that it was the left side where water had gotten into and was causing a short. Replaced it with a used one from LQK(by the way, the best place to get used parts..you go in, find the car, remove the part/s you need then take it back to the counter, pay and go home....very cheap prices---depending if you have one near you) It worked great and I was able to get the vehicle to pass the safety inspection.

did you check the owners manual, sometimes there is something about that in there and hopefully how to reset it

if you hold the button down when it is on trip, it should zero out (the black button that helps you get to the trip and odometer and oil life readings)
