PONTIAC 2003WON"T GO TO LOCK POSITION

will run and go to off position but wont lock,i can also remove the key when car is running.

There have been problems with wiring at the base of the steering columns on some of these cars. That can cause certain key release features etc to malfunction. Check things out down there to make sure no wires are broken or worn.
