I have a 2002 grand prix gt with a 3800

my 2002 grand prix  gt for no reason it started making a clunking noise and my left CV shaft is all greasy and I still have fluid in the trans but I cant go anywhere can someone give me a clue what it could be when I put it in the air the tires move when in gear but when I put my foot on the brake to stop it make more noise what is wrong please help.

Possibly Sounds like your cv axle is bad and needs to be replaced. The boot on the cv axle holds the grease in place and dirt out of joint. If grease is coming out of it I advise replacing the cv axle.
