I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am 3.4 6cyl. We recently replaced the water pump,
serpentine belt and we had to cut off the heater core to the car. The car only runs cold ac
now but it has been overheating again and has been leaking the coolant again. The
repairs are getting very costly to this car and are very frustrating.

The heater core is part of the cooling system. That's why it is over heating.
