Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my car has a security light that comes on a lot. sometimes, the car won't start and then I have to put the key in the ACC position and wait 10 minutes. After, the car starts with no issues. the light stays on sometimes as a solid warning, or it comes on while im driving down the road... Could this be part of the latest GM recall for bad ignition switches? I know GM has looked into it, and advises anyone that this happens to for them to call and report it... I agree, the more complaints, the better chance we have!!!!
