My 2003 grand am turns on then dies

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

First it'll turn on, then die after a few
seconds. And only sometimes. Usually if I
give it gas at the turn of the ignition it'll stay
on. Also the ignition is, Idk warped? I have
to jiggle the key a bit sometimes. What does
this sound like? Maybe adjusting the idle?

sounds like gm,s theft deterrent pass key gone wild. you need a fresh key and matching chip to ing. switch set installed
