02 MonteroSport Gear Noise

Hi:

My 2002 Montero Sport makes a gear noise when the wehivle is moving (under load). I changed both front axles (CV joints) and still have the same problem. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks in advance.

I have owned two of these vehicles. One in Australia called a Challenger) and a North American Montero Sport. Both cars had this problem. In both of my cars it was the Air conditioning unit. I would suggest that you might want to have it looked at. Good luck.
