does anyone know how to program a 95 towncar keyless remote

ive tried entering original code plus 1-2 within 5 second and remote still want program.

On those door nunber pads, the 1-2 is the same thing. If your code has a 1, you can hit 2 and it will work. If 3, 4 will work, and so on. The button does not know the difference it has only one contact. Code 1-3-5-7 and code 2-4-6-8 are the same So what I am getting at, just press 1, not 1 then 2, by pressing it twice may be the problem. That's what they mean by saying "press 1-2".. that button one time only...good luck hope this helps
