is there any part of a vehicle that can be replaced that would switch that odometer from the vehicle that the item is taken out of will transfer to the vehicle it is put in as asked in my previous question
Get the VIN. Get the Car Fax. The "gentleman" put a engine from a 199,000 mile Jeep in it? So it's a 100.000 mile Jeep with a 199,000 motor? Does that sound right to you?
Why in God's name are you even CONSIDERING buying a 15 year old Jeep that has 199,000 miles on the engine + has an incorrect odometer reading? Keep in mind that this IS a Jeep, NOT a Toyota or Honda....Chrysler/Jeep products aren't exactly known for their reliability over the short OR long haul. You're asking this question for the 12th time just to torture me, aren't you?
