windshield washer fluid light

The light doesn't turn off even though it's full. What could be the cause and how do I
fix it?

inside the fluid resevoir, there is an electronic float. Look down into it, and see if it is in the down position. If so, take a coathanger and gently try to get it to float in the up position. If this doesnt work, replace the float switch. If this helps, please award points
