my 1992 ford tempo gl starts most all the time what could be going on gets batter pulled down just enough so wont start

Old Battery, Old Starter, Alternator not keeping a charge on the battery, or like Tom says, there may be a draw (trunk, underhood or glove box light on) Have the charging system checked - that's the best place to start.
