Having starter problems replaced less than 3 mths ago and have same problem key turns on but won't start all lights come on what next?

How old is your battery? You may want to open up the covers and see if you have a dry cell. If battery becomes weak, it will not have enough power to engage the starter. If it's a maint. free battery, you may want to replace it if over five years old. Also, check your battery connections for corrosion. Sometimes a good cleaning is all it takes. Have you replaced your starter relay? Should be located under the hood. Will it start if you place the shifter to N?
Have use battery 2months old light come on but want start
Tap on the starter solenoid with a bar a few times, then try to start it
My 2003 PT Cruiser would not start the other day. It made the dreaded click sound, indicative of a bad starter. Went to the auto store and bought a replacement starter. Took apart enough of the engine to get to the starter and found the upper bolt was only finger tight. Tightened up the bolt and, voila, the car was back in service! Returned the replacement starter and had a wonderful day!
