Problem with climate control on '04 Taurus. Is this the correct site?

Does a good job cooling for about 45 min., then starts making a funny sound as though someone just flipped a flap and the air flow becomes restricted. So restricted that cabin becomes uncomfortable. 2 Ford dealers have been unable to find cause. Today after an episode I did notice some "vapor" coming out of vents and later found ice on A/C lines.
