I have a 2000 chevy tracker...where is the actuator for the 4x4 system located

4x4 light used to flash but now nothing? I have only 2WD

it has an air pump behind front bumper on passenger side see if it runs if it does then there is a small hose that goes on a fitting on front end housing see if it has came off and see if air is coming out of it if it does then the airbag in housing is bad
