truck won't hold a charge for more than a day at a time. Alternator and battery are new and good. what's the possible problem??? 2005 siverado base model

You have a drain on electrical somewhere. If you have a suspect circuit pull that fuse and see if problem persists. You can also buy a digital electrical system monitor that plugs into the cigarette lighter. They are about $14 at an auto parts store. With engine off you should have about 12.4 volts with engine running you should have about 14.3 volts.

diconnect the neg teminal on the battery, connect a test light from the cable to the neg post if the light is bright you have a draw, start removing fuses but put them back before you go to the next one .until the light dims.
