same question, casper271, what's your source or level of expertise to say the truck can tow a 13500-1425 lb. 5th wheel. i weighed the truck at the local CAT scales and mine is 5650. weighed it at CAT scales with the new fifth wheel and got 15560. the owners manual GCWR is 16000. i'm planning a trip to South Dakota in June. what obstacles might i confront, or be hit with since the 15560 is 40 lbs short of the 1600 GCWR?
