2003 SILVERADO HD 8.1 L. CUTS OUT AND DIES UNDER LOAD THEN WONT CRANK

Look for 1) a loose connection at the battery 2) all ground wires that go from the body to the engine and transmission. Many times we find this to be the problem. If it is not a battery or ground problem there may be a bad connection at a wire gang connector. But don't waist your time digging for that. Now turn over or wouldn't start. I ask because if it will turn over with no start, the sputtering could be cause by low fuel pressure.
