what exhaust should i get for a 2002 silverado 1500 4x4 5.3 ext cab, nothing like tooo loud, but i want a dual exhaust system

i want to put on a dual exhaust that makes the truck sound good, but not too loud, and i dont know if i
should go with flow-master, magnaflow or if there's something better rout there. and also should i go
from the headers back, axle back or cat back. help my guru friends!

gotta go cat back or it will throgh system off without o2 sensors,,,for what you want one flowmaster and a stock muffler with a crossover at front sounds like it may be the trick

Find a few truck forums and ask for video sound clips. One problem is be aware of with any free flow aftermarket exhaust system is drone at constant highway speeds. Some cat backs are quiet and some are like water torture on a long highway passage.

3 inch piping into a carven r series muffler then 3 inch out , of course long tube better sound don't forget a cold air intake and a custom tune that will wake up your truck and bring more sound...carven r series very aggressive I love the sound
