if i change my oil pressure sending unit do i need to change my oil

I replaced the oil sending unit and ended with engine knock do i also need to change the
oil

If oil is full and not due to change,then no,but if you got a knock in engine would not hurt to do it,

What is the reason for replacing the oil pressure sender? If it was for low oil pressure then the knock tells me you might actually have low pressure. If it is knocking don't drive it, get it repaired.

If motor ticks need new oil 5w20good in summer. If a knock is heard in bottom of motor not good .don't drive
