Serpentine Belt Removal

How do i remove the Serpentine Belt from the engine i know i have to move the tensioner to get the belt off but their are so many parts in front of the belt to get at it? What are the necessary steps to removing the belt? Thank you

Well, your either going to need to take off the parts that are blocking your tensioner, or your gonna need to find a way to get your wrench on the tensioner the way it is. Once the belt is loose, you'll have to work it around the fan to get it all the way off, be careful when you release the tensioner's pressure, I've seen them break if you just let them snap back into their desired position.

Remove the air cleaner assembly.
Remove the retaining bolt for the coolant recovery reservoir and set the reservoir aside.
Install a 3/8 inch drive wrench on the drive belt tensioner arm and rotate the arm counterclockwise.
Remove the drive belt.
Slowly release the tension on the drive belt tensioner arm.
