astro van electrical problem

Asked by snickers1138 Aug 30, 2010 at 09:36 AM about the 1997 Chevrolet Astro Cargo Extended AWD

I tried to put the power windows up and they stopped halfway up. Checked all fuses and the breaker and everything is good. The heater fan, windshield wipers and radio also quit working when the windows quit. Also the abs light came on and stayed on. Any ideas?

I just had the same problem and found out from my mechanic that its the ingnition switch. My van is a 2000 chevy express
