Bluetooth activation?
just purchased used 530i, how do i sync the bluetooth? do I need a bmw car phone for this feature to work? original buyer purchased car in April 04. thx to anyone who can help.

any bluetooth phone will work.....add new device on your phone and accept on the Idrive, passcode for phone and car is 0000....hope this helps

you can choose any code you want, the code in the car and the phone has to be the same (similar to other bluetooth applications)
