what is the cause of stiff steering?
Suddenly lost power steering, there's no fluid leaks. Checked the ATF, level was a little low. I refilled it but still the steering is really stiff. can you help?
Hi Malex! It's either a power steering pump failure or lose belts. You probably don't need to pay for a BMW dealership visit on this one but personally I'd rather have it worked on by someone who knew his way around the car and can diagnose the problem quickly. Call your local dealer and schedule an appointment...Good luck!
