my bro's got the '95 318is, he got the light a lot when we got it in '05, but after a while it just went away, probably loose connections

My 93 325 does the same damn thing... been doing it for a year now. I havent figured out how to stop it either aside from unplugging the thing

Apparently if one the bulbs gets a little corroded, itll throw that code. Try replacing tail or brake light bulbs.

Did u replace any brake light globes recently? If so, replace with a good make of globe such as phillips, osram!!! The resistance my be lower in cheap make globes!!! The system works on resistance!
