You need your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) number, title to your vehicle (or other proof of ownership), an ID card and your local dealership.  they should be able to look up the make of your key and cut you one right there.

were should i bring the key?

i hv a 1991 bmw 3251lost the door key which open started the car so do i need a full door assembly,ignition barrel or just a key     thank you

Just go to a bmw dealer

tAKE UR TITLE TO THE DEALER SO THE CAN SELL U THE KEY BLANK AND GIVE U THE CODE TO GET THE KEY CUT TO MATCH UR vin, just make sure that the previous owner, if it had one, did not changed out any of the cylinders
