I know when i bought my 1995 325I, i hit the gas and it sounded like chains jingling, it turned out to be a loose nut under the car easily assessable, past year no more noise.

i had a sounds like that at idle and it was an exhaust braket rubbing on a cross member. just beat it out with a sledge. check you exhaust piping as well. hope this helps.

sounds like guibo, or i've seen it listed as the center support bearing.  If you look under the car it will look like a rubber filled circular thing that your drive shaft goes through.  I think it's in the middle of the car.

guibo and center support bearing are two different things....... the guibo is also known as the flex disc. it sits between the driveshaft and the transmission.  the center support bearing sits in the middle of the driveshaft... the center support bearing blows before the flex disc. i would replace both... they are very easy and cheapest to get a  hold of through parts authority
