About: 1998 BMW 323i
window problem
i have a 98 323 coupe & when i press & release electric window switch for it to go up it goes so far then comes down again, can anyone help to get to the bottom of this problem, iv had the trim panel off & nothing is restricting the mechanism or getting caught.

Sounds like a problem with the window regulator itself. May need to get a new regulator.

try spraying some silicone lube in the window run channel first, then press the down button till the window is all the way down, hold the button down for 10 secs, it will allow the window motor module to reset itself and relearn its position. this might b all it needs. if this does not work new regularor and motor, updated versions
