how can i get more horse power out of it?

hi, i have a 1992 320i. how can i get more torque into the engine for faster exceleration?

You could try a cold air intake to add horsepower.

How much money do you have/want to spend?

New performance exhaust, Air filter, 325i throttle bodies, remapped/new ecu, lightweight pullies, lightwheight alloys (reduce weight = faster without spending more on insurance), super unleaded petrol, new cams etc etc.

I've got the exact same car. I recomend CAI, seafoam (look it up if you dont know what it is) and FDK (fan deleat kit).
