while sitting at a light my vette will climb to 225.is that normal.

Hello, These Corvettes tend to idle warm. As long as your fan comes on once it reaches 238 degrees, you should be okay. Normal operating temperature on a hot day hovers right between 238-240. Best of luck! CarGrrl

the temperature in normal driving conditions show temp at 240degrees constainly. I was told normal operating temp was supposed to be 195 - 210 . However my engine temperature 20 to 30 degrees higher
