bad gas milage on a 2005 crv all wheel drive 15.75
I have tracked the milage from 12/07 to present over 1000 miles, using 87 octane gas, checked tire pressure 32 psi and changed air filter. I am getting 15.75 mphs at 75% city and 25 % highway. I have taken the car to Honda 3 times they put the car on the computor they say there are no codes and the fuel trim levels are OK. They feel that 15.75 mph's is OK. They never put he car up on the rack never opened the hood never taken the car for a test drive. Does this milage sound correct? Is there anything else I can do? I do not jackrabbit start and stop and do not idle the car. The car has 24,000 miles has all ways been seviced at Honda following there regular sevice scheduale.

This doesn't sound that out of place for an all-wheel drive CRV. Honestly, it sounds about right. I wish I had better advice for you but 16 mpg is common even for these small SUVs, and AWD just compounds the low mileage issue -- it's like running in 4WD all the time.
