911 4S 997 (2006) Grinding noise in the gear box

Hi,
My car is making a grinding noise which apears to come from the gearbox while driving on very low RPM in the lower gears (2-3)had it checked by the local dealer but they say its normal. I'm not sure if it really is, I'm afraid they just wanna escape having the gear box replaced. any ideas? Thanks
