Having a hard time deciding what car to buy!!:(

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I can keep and fix my 2002 mitsubishi
eclipse gt v6 3.0l 24 valve non turbo car i
have no clue what happened so I was going
to sell the car for 1000$ OBO on craigslist
because the motor might have seized and
it's automatic so I have no fun driving it at
all? But a transmission swap is always ok.
Or once I sell the car there is a 1995
mitsubishi 3000gt for 1700$ v6 non vr4 sick
motor idk if it's AWD? It looks cool it can be
fast with a vr4 twin turbo motor swap we
but I think you would need the vr4
transmission as well cause they are 6
speeds I believe and the slower models are
5 speeds. the guy told me it overheated and
he let it sit for awhile then took it for a 300
mile trip? I don't need another lemon like my
eclipse also I hate working on my eclipse
because mitsubishi is confusing to me I feel
like the 300gt would be just as hard to work
on. Or there is a 2001 VW golf with a 2.0l
engine that's all he really told me and I have
no clue what is what about those cars I like
the looks and it's the 2 door model thank
god I haven't heard much bad or good
about them besides they are just good daily
drivers but that was 2000$ and there was a
1997 honda prelude h23 non v-tec non turbo
. It had a full body kit on it the car needs a
paint job bad but like I did to my eclipse
there's plasti dip:) I would really like to not
have to paint and u hate how Hondas where
I live are everywhere but that's why I was
looking at the preludes cause its mainly
civics here but still also the hole body kit
thing seems like it might be annoying I
mean it looks cool and it matches but I
know I would scrape everywhere that's why
I like lip kits instead there cool and they
aren't to low. Those are kinda all the cars I
have found so far. Oh I really like camping
and such also  so I just thought take seats
out of a golf you can probably fit a little bed
lol? So any help would be great I can't
decide myself I was in search for the best
answer and finally just said screw it I'll
make an account on something and ask on
a forum. Even if you know stuff about
eclipse maybe you know what's happening
I'll describe what's happening if anyone
asks. Thanks guys and gals.

I would skip the 3000gt too many issues, I would say do the VW since you said you need the room. Or just get a Miata or a CR-V! lol good luck

I was looking at miatas but 2 seats seems like it would get frustrating. I really want a 350z lol but considering I'm 17 and work a minimum wage part time job I know I will have to wait.

The Miata is a fun to drive, reliable, and easy to work on car. If you do go that route check out miata.net. For car reliable scores go to edmunds.com. Good Luck
