what could be wrongmissfiring on #1 cylender

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i changed plugs plug wires and coil but codes r showing missfire on #1 cylender.
2002 ford tarus v6 24 valve

It may sound crazy but there would be tow things wrong ! 1. the ecu is not functioning properly 2. the cam shaft sensor detects which cylinder needs the spark so may be the gears on the camshaft r dirty which causes to miss the reading sometimes ! just a guess ! :P
