i got a 96 chevy corsica engine wont start, acts like battery is weak. It has a new battery timing is ok. Couold this be a stater problem?

Did you charge the battery up and clean the terminals? Do that first and if that does not do it take the battery in to an auto parts store for testing. Even new batteries can be defective.
