Is there any thing I need to know about an Audi A6 quatro turbo 01 fuel pump replacement ?

I've replaced the pump and filter and I can smell gas

If you can smell gas in the cabin while driving, check the fuel pressure regulator. It could be leaking. Check your hose connections. It might be a slow/small leak but they leave a stain.

youll need to check the seal for the fuel pump also. check if it is installed incorrectly. or if it is cracked, replace it.
