Can a 1997 Audi A3 be converted from European specs to US specs?
My wife and I just moved to Hawaii from Germany. We had to leave her car at her families house in Germany because it's european spec. Is it possible to convert a 1997 Audi 3-door 1.6L from European Specs to US Specs? I realize it will cost alot, just not sure how much or what the process entails. If it is possible, is it something I would have to do in Germany before it ships or can I ship the car here and convert it in the States?

Sell it and buy a new car.
You will need new glass in all the windows, new signal light assemblies all around, etc.
