why does my brake warning light come on and stay on sometimes,but not all the time,what does it mean

jan, you don't tell us what model car, year, anything....? Does the symbol look like (0)..or what?

On some cars, the brake warning light comes on when the fluid level is low or if there is a malfunction. If your light is on, check the fluid level and if it's full, take it to a repair shop to see what's wrong.

^^^ Also if the fluid level is low you may want to have the brake pads inspected since as they wear it takes more fluid in the lines to compress the caliper under braking...

My 2012 Nissan Quest sometimes the pedal go all way down like no breaks but went I pumping couple times work great but maybe 2 weeks later started again and sometimes went rain someone else know why it's the problem .:?

Check the fluid, otherwise you have air in your brakes and need to bleed them. It's pretty easy to do but requires 2 people to do and maybe an hr to complete.
