Midsize Winter SUV?

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I'm looking to upgrade to a great winter SUV. We bought my wife a 2014 Cherokee and
love it, but I'd like something slightly bigger, and used to save a few dollars. The
problem is that I have a few difficult constraints:

- Real 4x4 (not just AWD) - We get blizzards and AWD just can't cut through deep
snow
- No sunroof - I'm 6'4, so I need the extra head room.
- Size matters - I don't want something tiny, or bigger than an Edge or Grand
Cherokee.
- Price matters - I'm hoping to come in under $25k used and <100k miles Our Cherokee hands down destroys most of the competition in snow. So, originally, I thought a Grand Cherokee would be perfect, but it's very difficult to find a used model with real 4x4 and no sun roof. Nissan Xterra on paper looks okay, but looks like kind of ugly to me. Are there any other SUV's I should look at? Thanks

Tahoe, Yukon, Explorer, all are larger than a Grand Cherokee, are real 4x4's, and get as good or better gas mileage than the Cherokee.
