why my ford escape takes a lot of gas i changed every thing but still spend a lot of gas

If your using Regular fuel, try mid grade or premium. Even though it does cost a little more to get the full tank with it, it runs better in the car. Also, try different gas stations, I usually stay away from the lower priced stations (QuikTrip, Race Trac, 7 Eleven, etc.) because they usually have more ethanol and sometimes the gas is watered down.
