Who is stupid enough to compare GM to Honda

def not me GM is run by a bunch of retards that think power is all you need instead of suspension upgrades and brakes plus the sheer weight of the vehicles is rediculous but we could sit here all day and people would disagree cause they are "right" and we are wrong.

Good question. I don't know who did compare GM to Honda, but lets start at the beginning. First off, They're from different continents (yes most Honda models are built over here in N.A. now, but there are models that are E.U./Japan exclusive). That being said, Japanese cars ie. Toyota, Honda etc... (and dare I say Korean cars even, post 2004) are blowing away the big three in literally every component with regards to "grading" a vehicle. You could even go as far to say that the employees of the import manufacturers, take pride in thier workmanship. Domestic manufacturer employees don't care about what they put out as long as thier bloated paychecks keep comming in. Hmmm... why are the big 3 in trouble?

i dont know who would want to compare an inferior import to an american made car. especially when the imports typically cost more for the class of vehicles they are in and also cost more to repair.

Well, let's see, both companies make cars and many of their products are specifically designed to compete. If you are trying to say that GM is the best company you must consider that they have made many shitty cars IE the pontiac aztec and the chevy aveo and ssr (some idiots like it though). Yes GM has tons of models so it's easy to look at the good half of their line if you want to compare to the imports. Don't think i'm biased, i know that not all japanese cars are good, take Mitsubishi, aside from the lancers they have never really made a good car, eclipses are heavy and handle poorly for sports cars and the rest of their line is just rebranded dodges. You can say that civics are weak but they are reliable and efficient and compare pretty well against the GM saturns and cavaliers. No Honda does not have a car to compete with the GMC Yukon that you have as your profile picture but those aren't really selling so i see some wisdom in not competing with them. If you want to argue about the ridgeline then once again i will say that it is not meant to compete with the cheap powerful work trucks that America makes so well. I drive an American truck but i'm a Ford guy... another argument for another day.
