KTM or YAMAHA
ive been riding yamaha's 125 cc dirt bikes now for a while. but just a few days aga i rode a 09 ktm 125cc. and it was way faster off the line then any one of my yamaha's. my ? is does anyone one know anything about ktm and shuld i buy one. i own tow brand spankin new yz 125cc and their custom painted too. shuld i sell and buy a ktm. please help me out

Yamaha's are going to be more on/off with the power; more race-like. I ride Yamaha too and love them, despite how difficult they can be. KTM's tend to have a heavier fly-wheel, but that might not be the case with this 09 125 as you say it's very quick off the line. I think the KTM has a slightly longer-wheelbase which may help its accel, but they should weigh about the same maybe...206 lbs wet. Lately KTM has been cranking out amazing motorcycles and most of the ones I have ridden are amazing, but dont sell a Yamaha that's a yr or 2 old to ride a orange because most riders (including you im sure) can't tell the difference. Work on technique and control before getting so serious with bike preference
