1967 GT 500 E. Good choice. Too bad they cost around $120,000 and up.
Aston Martin DBS from James Bond
Thats Easy The Black Interceptor in Mad Max 1 and 2 its based on a 1973 Ford XB GT Falcon Hardtop (XB GT Falcon Coupe) All time King of car Movies
That's a good one. All you have to do is import one from Austrailia.
My top 2 cars are the BTTF Delorean and the Ghostbusters ECTO-1. I also like the Magnum PI Ferrari, Mad Max's black car, Bullitt's Mustang, and Eleanor.
KICK ASS VETTE FROM CORVETTE SUMMER >_< Kowalski's White 1970 Challenger in the original Vanishing Point
Mate its Harder than you think and i live in Australia As there were only 949 XB GTs ever made they have become a very collectable Australian Muscle Car. There are probably less than 500 GTs remaining now. The value of these collectables has increased dramatically over the last few years to the point where you can not even consider using one for a replica Interceptor. The good news is that a GT is not required for the job, a 1973 - 1976 Falcon or Fairmont (trim level not model in Australia) is virtually identical and is a much more economical choice. Eleanor, the Bullitt 'stang, and the Tokyo Drift Veilside RX-7.
That's a good one also. I saw a white 1970 Dodge Challenger 440 for sale. The guy wanted $28,000 for it.
What about the primer gray 55 chev with the 454 in it from the movie two lane black top not pretty looking Just very very tuff looking chev got movie too
The Red XY GY Phase 3 from running on empty. Smashed up so many to make that movie and look what there worth now. DAM IT!!
Makes me cry How many do u think they wrote off One in the hill billy Part it rolled and burned and the drag race where it loses it top so 2? They stuff a few good cars in it its a shame. My fav in the movie is the blown 57 chev That the blind guy owns Super tuff car
Definitely either KITT or the Skyline from 2 Fast 2 Furious. Or any Skyline period.
I saw a special on the Speed channel called 101 cars you must drive. They featured the Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger. Great car but really expensive. I also liked the Aston V8 Vantage from the Living Daylights.
Man, can't believe i missed that. The only thing is the modern cars weren't as good as the old ones. In the one with Halle Berry, the body was the only thing they used from the original Aston, instead, they used a ford V8!!! But definetely the old ones... no doubt they were the best.
Definitely the '55 from Two Lane Blacktop. Primer, slicks, hax-as metal cowl, so tuf
My favorite was created for a TV show... and made it to the big screen as well. It was hand crafted in 1964 by the Kustom Car guru of the stars and studios, George Barris... the Munster Koach. Barris also built Grandpa's Drag U La race car... as well as the Batmobile...
1970 chevy nova in tarantino's grindhouse: death proof
that car is simply beautiful the body work a lone probably cost more then the car did from the showroom lol
of course people are going to disagree but i liked the toyota supra from faf (minus the hideous decal) the skyline from 2f2f, the 350z,evo VIII (aka Evil VIII from APR performance), and the rx 7 from tokyo drift. That mustang with the skyline motor is pretty sick though even though i dont like american muscle. def the 1967 shelby gt500 on Gone in 60 Seconds. Oh and by they way gt500 dont really go for 125k if they are numbers matching original they go for 500k or more
Crap, i thought i was going to be original, too bad, great car, i will drive at least a kit car before i die of eleanor
Have you seen wide kits from Veilside for the NSX's
As started in this thread before, the 55 Chevy from Two Lane Blacktop. What many people don't know is that 55 Chevy is also in fact the same 55 Chevy Harrison Ford drives in American Graffiti. It was painted for that movie, the production company just had it kicking around from after the filmed Two Lane Blacktop. Oh and you can't forget the project x 57 Chevy from Hollywood Knights, pictured here.
