2007 GT500 brake question

Here is a pic of stuff from ebay that is on sale for super cheap. Can someone tell me what the silver part in front is?

it looks like it could be the master cylinder. Does this eBay sale come with a description? I have never seen a GT500 mc but I would imagine with the bigger brakes you might want to go with a bigger mc. If the prior owner of those brakes went with bigger then they probably did the same.
