2009 Milan Premier Can I tow 1000 0 1500 lbs safely with my car?

I would like to tow a small trailer like the ones towed by motorcycles. Or a pod type trailer. Can the Milan
with 3.0 L 4 spd auto trans handle this without strain?

I wouldn't exceed 1000 lbs., and tow it in regular drive or 3, not overdrive.

My 2006 Mercury Milan is having turn signal problems.. Car reads check turn lights on the front. Both replaced and the driver side stays on permanently and drains my battery. We replaced the switch in the dash board and it still isn't working.. Any help guys? 1 answer
