break light flashes on my 1992 chevy 1500 4x4 9 short flashes 1 long flash what do i do

If your spare is underneth take that down and to the left on the drivers side is a connecter with 4 wires check them and make sure there all in and making connection or try to run a differnt ground if they are not connected and needs replaced the easiest thing u can do is go 2 a junk yard and pull a good one off I had 2 do this 2 my truck mine didn't work at all it costed me a doller and mine work now ur going 2 have 2 cut and splice wires tho its easier that trying 2 reroute every thing
