About: Chevrolet Chevelle
transmission to motor matching
working with transmisions i have the origanal 4 speed mani in a 71 but im puttin in a 427 motor instead of the 289 i got the car with should i bump up to 5 speed or greater or should i just see if it will work first with the 4 speed?
did the 71 even come with a 289 stock i thought it to be strange when i saw it at first. i always thought they were 454.
