Is it possible to swap a 96 ram 1500 5.2 tranny, To a 99 ram 1500 5.9 body and motor?

Yes it is. Should bolt right up. Might have a few wiring harnesses to swap around but no big deal.

Depends. 96 may still be a 46rh while 99 should be a 46re. if they are both a 46re, then you are fine .the rh is hydraulically controlled, while the re is electronically controlled.
