I have a 98 Dakota with the 318 engine, with a couple different mods. The steering wheel has play in it and I did replace everything but the steering box. Any suggestions?

Anything other then replacing the steering gear box itself?

is it 4 wheel drive or 2 wheel drive. it could be the idler arm and pitment arm or it could be the steering gear box.
