motor swap
i have a 93 dodge dakota 3.9L and im to put a 5.9 r/t motor in it this winter bc my v6 motor had 257000 miles on it and i want more horse power.

i had the same idea for my 3.9. are you planning on dropping in a stock 5.9 or are you gonna build it up?

Its totally doable. The motor mounts wont line up and do the reasearch on the tranny. Thats a touchy subject matter. I have had dakota since 1992 and I drive a 2000 RT now pushing over 400 ponies.
