I have a 1992 dodge dakota V6 3.9L it will start and run for about 30 seconds then shut down

i have gas in the tank when i try to start it after it shuts down the starter clicks but nothing happens. does anyone know what i should do to fix it or what is wrong?

start the truck and rev the engine does it keep running if not its electrical if it does its hard to diagnose without special tools

try that test and get back to me

i tried starting it today and it wouldnt start just clicks tried jump starting it as well same thing

Check all the connections to the battery and starter, if they look good tap on the starter and then see if it starts. It's probably shot

What it sounds like to me is that your alternator isnt workin right
